Vancouver Wedding Photographers
Our last wedding of the year!! And where’s a better place to end the season than Whistler ?!?! Brendan and Mandy planned a winter wedding at Nita Lake Lodge , a peaceful boutique hotel/resort nestled in the mountains, surrounded by white trees and a big frozen lake. There is something about snow that makes everything feel magical. It was certainly a magical day for Brendan, Mandy, and their friends and family. From clever details, to heart warming speeches, we enjoyed every moment of their day.
Dan knows Brendan’s brother Spencer (a super duper photographer himself) and that’s how we met these two and had such a wonderful time. Brendan, Mandy and their wedding party were troopers in the cold, standing on the frozen lake while we threw snow behind them and backlit it, to jumping and twirling in the frigid temperatures. We love love love winter weddings!
A shout out to the staff at Nita Lake Lodge as well. For a few hours we all but completely took over the lobby for our photo session when everyone got to cold to keep moving outside. It was also great working with Geoff and Naomi from Weddings in Motion .
We had a fantastic time and are excited to share our favorites of the day!
