Last October, we were very privileged to photograph Janice and Roger’s North Vancouver wedding.  We got to know Janice and Roger really well on their engagement session a month before their wedding as we biked around the West End, over the Burrard Bridge and into Vanier Park.

While Roger got ready at a friend’s house in North Vancouver, Janice had her hair and makeup and got ready at the cute and quaint Thistle Down B&B .  The talented Andrea Salazar provided hair and makeup for Janice and her mom, while Janice did makeup for her 3 nieces.

It was a spectacular day in North Vancouver as Janice and Roger exchanged nuptials at the North Shore Unitarian Church .  We took advantage of the beautiful setting at Ambleside Park for portraits.

The festivities continued back at the church for dinner, speeches and a whole lot of dancing!  Janice and Roger hired high school quartet that they saw busking in Vancouver one day – how awesome!  And they were amazing!

We had an amazing time with Janice and Roger, and an even greater time getting to know them.  They brought so much fun to the wedding and their positive energy is contagious!  All the best to you guys!

Historically, October is a very busy month for us during the wedding season.  We can’t explain why, but we sure aren’t complaining either!  Jasmin and Sam got married last October at Newlands Golf & Country Club in Langley.  These guys are the best.  They said from the beginning that they trusted us to do whatever we wanted to.  They also gave us 4 hours for portraits!  We took advantage of all that time and hit up some awesome locations in Langley including Milner Valley Cheese (a goat farm) and Napier’s Country Antiques.

Jasmin and her ladies got ready at the cute and quaint Princess & The Pea Bed & B with hair and makeup artist, Gem Spierings .  Once everyone was ready, it was time for door games for Sam and the boys.  Hilarity ensued!

Once our 4 hour portrait session was done, Jasmin and Sam exchanged vows in front of a little gazebo with their friends and family.  As the night began to fall, we snuck out with Jasmin and Sam right before the reception to get some dusk shots on the golf course which turned out beautifully!

Thank you Jasmin and Sam for trusting our creativity!  We had a great time at your wedding :)

| PARM & DAVID | UBC Boathouse Wedding |

Parm and David inquired with us about one month before their wedding reception was to be had.  They had already tied the knot in a small and intimate beach ceremony with just their kids and close friends and family earlier in the summer.  This reception was to celebrate their union with their many friends and family members at the UBC Boathouse in Richmond.

In the evening just before the sun dipped, we spent an hour or so at Iona Beach and had gorgeous summer evening to get some beautiful portraits of Parm and David who were dressed to the nines!

It was a wonderful celebration of these two individuals, their children and their families coming together.  Though brief, we had a wonderful time with Parm and David!
